Placing constructive accountability at the center of multilateral cooperation

We believe that cooperation between states through multilateral diplomacy can benefit their citizens, and that the United Nations can facilitate international cooperation for the benefit of all whom the United Nations is meant to serve.

More transparent structures of accountability and clearer collective oversight will help the United Nations System be more effective, with actions more coherent with its principles, without compromising the discretion indispensable to diplomacy.
